This policy covers both the Calmffirmation app and the calmffirmation.com website.
The short version
- The app works entirely on your device. It doesn't collect, transmit, or store any of your information outside your phone.
- This website uses privacy-friendly analytics to see how many people visit and download things. No cookies, no personal data collected.
The app
Voice recordings. If you use the Sleep Affirmations feature, Calmffirmation records affirmations in your own voice using your device's microphone. These recordings are stored locally on your device only, and are never uploaded, transmitted, or backed up anywhere by the app. They leave your device only if you personally choose to export or share them.
Everything else. As of this version, Calmffirmation does not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs, and does not require you to create an account.
How we use it. Your voice recordings are used only to play them back to you, on your device, as part of the Sleep Affirmations feature. We never have access to them.
Your choices. You can delete your recordings and any other app data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app. Since nothing is sent to us, there's no separate copy elsewhere to delete.
The website
calmffirmation.com offers affirmation tracks, music, and ambient sounds for direct download. No account or personal information is required to download anything.
Analytics. This website uses privacy-friendly analytics to understand how many people visit the site and how often content is downloaded. This tool doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personally identifiable information, and only reports aggregate numbers, not individual visitor behavior.
Data sharing
We don't sell data. The app has nothing to share, since nothing leaves your device. The website's analytics tool reports only aggregate numbers to us, not individual visitor identities, and we don't share that data with anyone else.
Data security
Because app data never leaves your device, its security depends on your device's own protections, such as your screen lock or device encryption.
Children's privacy
Calmffirmation and calmffirmation.com are not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If Calmffirmation adds features in future versions, such as accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or advertising, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect those changes, along with the corresponding Google Play Data Safety declarations. We'll update the effective date above whenever that happens.
